Dr. Meenu Khurana honoured with ‘Outstanding Branch Counsellor Award’ by IEEE Delhi Section

Dr. Meenu Khurana, Dean, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Branch Counsellor of IEEE CIET Student Branch; at Chitkara University; received the ‘Outstanding Branch Counsellor Award’ by IEEE Delhi Section, Region-10 (Asia Pacific and Japan), in an event held at Faridabad on June 3, 2019.

Dr. Meenu Khurana received the honour in the presence of the Dr. Prerna Gaur, Delhi Section Chair; Dr. Rachna Garg, Vice-Chair; Dr. Manoj Saxena, Delhi Section Secretary; and Dr. I.K. Bhatt, Vice Chancellor, Manav Rachna University. The recognition comes her way for exemplary work done under IEEE and IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) Branch, for Student Members of IEEE. Chitkara University IEEE CIET Student Branch also bagged the ‘Best Student Volunteer’ which was awarded to student, Kartik Vij; and ‘Best WIE Volunteer’ awarded to student, Kavya.

IEEE Delhi Section Award Ceremony organised at Manav Rachna International University, also saw experts making a holistic analysis of the performance of IEEE Student Branches under the Delhi Section – and suggesting steps and measures to improve.
