Dr. Madhu Chitkara express her views at the APAC- Global Education and Skill Conclave
Telangana State Government Collegiate and Technical Education Department in association with APAC News Network organised ‘Global Education & Skill Conclave on December 3-5, 2020 wherein, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor of Chitkara University expressed her views on the impact of New Education Policy on Higher Education.
The Guest of Honour was Sh. Suresh Prabhu, Member of Parliament (RS) & Founding Chancellor, Rishihood University and Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Higher Education Minister, Government of Uttarakhand.
The key note speakers of the Conclave were from around the globe like Dr. Ron Malka (Ambassador, Embassy of Israel, India), Barry O’Farrell AO (High Commissioner of Australia to India), Prof. Ashutosh Sharma (Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India) and few more.
There were many eminent speakers from various backgrounds like Government, International, Higher Education and School Education.
The summit acted as a platform to exchange knowledge from and by investors, innovators , experts from around the globe and NGO’s who discussed the importance and vital practices of education, technology & innovation, emerging trends, research & development, for sustainable growth and many more.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara expressed her optimism on various aspects of the Policy and mentioned that sincere implementation will make India a Global Centre of Education. She flagged important aspects like Exit policy at various levels of course as a streamline approach to channelise students according to their capabilities. She applauded the aspect of categorising universities as Research or Teaching Incentives.
Lastly, She wholeheartedly welcomed the blending mode learning concept, community service, support to schools, mutual support to HEI and support to various field of Practice.
