Dr Ashok Chitkara shares stage with Chief Minister of Punjab

It was a moment of pride for the entire Chitkara fraternity as Dr Ashok Chitkara, Chancellor, Chitkara University, shared stage with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal.

The CM distributed certificates to 26 employees of Hero Cycles who qualified to enroll for Diploma in Production & Operation Management under the joint up skilling initiative of Hero Cycles – Skill Center (Hunar) and Chitkara University.

Dr. Ashok Chitkara was part of this felicitation ceremony along with Sh. O.P. Munjal, Chairman of Hero Cycles and Sh. Pankaj Munjal, Co-Chairman and MD of Hero Cycles held at Hero Cycles Premises in Ludhiana.

Hero Cycles has opened a Skill Center at the factory premises in Ludhiana to train the workforce of Hero Cycle and enable them for higher positions in their jobs. Chitkara University took up this task of inculcating necessary skills in these people by providing them the best of training through a diploma course. This diploma is covering five major subjects of business management besides various industry visits and on-the-job skill based training by Faculty of Chitkara University at Hero Cycle factory premises on a weekly basis.
