Department of Computer Science & Engineering hosts AI Summit

Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence),Chitkara University hosted an AI Summit on the theme of “Responsible AI for Humanity.” The summit served as the launchpad for a new student chapter, EvolveAI, at Chitkara University. The primary goal of this summit was to explore the latest developments and advancements in the field of Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on raising awareness about the significance of responsible AI and its impact on society. The launch of EvolveAI is a significant step forward in enabling all the students of our university to explore the field of AI and build their skills in this area.

The summit was graced by eminent personalities from the field of artificial intelligence : Ankush Sabharwal, Head & CEO of CoRover-The World’s First Human-Centric Conversational AI Platform, Dr. Kartik Ramesh, Head Vice President of EMIDS Technologies, Ramesh Saketi, VP-Adaptivent, and Aditya Jha, Technical Specialist-AI & Data Analytics at NEC-India.

Dr. PK Khosla, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research), Chitkara University gave the keynote address and inspired the students for their ongoing journey. The summit promised to be an enlightening and thought-provoking event that provided a platform for experts in the field of AI to share their knowledge and insights on the subject. We believe that this event provided our students with a unique opportunity to engage with experts in the field and gain a deeper understanding of the potential of AI, as well as its ethical implications.
