Department of Applied Sciences celebrates National Science Day 2018 as Symbiosis Between Science & Technology

The Science of today is the technology of tomorrow. Every year Department of Applied Sciences, Chitkara University celebrating National Science Day as SYMBIOSIS BETWEEN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY. This year also Applied sciences organised, various technical as well as non-technical events such as Commercial Quiz, Best Out of Waste, Royale Wrangle, Posterize, Scientific Rangoli, Science Project in which students participated, to show their talents and learn a lot. Our Honorable Vice-chancellor, Dr Madhu Chitkara, inaugurated Science and emphasized the importance of science for engineers. She also appreciated the students’ science projects and inspired them to give shape to their innovation.

Lectures on tricks of mathematics using Vedic Maths was also organized for BE students and students of Chitkara International school who enjoyed mathematics. For sports-oriented students, basketball competition was organized. Many Students also enjoyed the Fun activities like Scavenger Hunt, Splistvilla etc. In the end, distribution of prizes and certificates were given by Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr Archana Mantri. She also appreciated the growing scientific appetite of students towards science & technology.
