CSH successfully concludes food production course under “Huner se Rozgaar Tak” program

A batch of 30 candidates of “Huner Se Rozgar Tak” successfully completed an eight week course in Food Production on 10th Oct, 2015. The candidates were awarded certificates and a stipend of Rs. 2000 each in presence of Mr. K.L.Malhotra, Manager Skill Development, PHTPB, Govt of Punjab. Sh. Malhotra addressed the passing out batch on the valediction and wished them well in their future endeavours. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. CM Bhan, gave the outline of the program and said that Chitkara School of Hospitality has so far trained 291 candidates and out of them 77 have been gainfully placed in the Hospitality Industry.

Huner Se Rozgar Tak program, an initiative of Ministry of Tourism Govt. of India has been launched in Punjab through PHTPB to create employable skills specific to Hospitality and Tourism sector. Chitkara Schhol of Hospitality, Chitkara University, Punjab has been imparting training in these skill development programs as part of its CSR policy.
