Chitrakara University makes the best use of creativity and innovation during the ongoing pandemic

As the entire world is gripped with the fear of the ongoing pandemic, we, at Chitkara University, are trying our best to create opportunities during these testing times. We have pledged to innovate, create and seek to do our bit for the community. In response to the current situation, Chitkara University has developed a Robust Face Shield using 3D Printing Technology. Designed & developed by Chitkara University, this face shield can be very effective in preventing the spread of viruses.

Chitkara University has decided to distribute 100 complimentary face shields in the community. 25 shields have already been distributed and are being used by people.

The best part is that this face shield is an excellent alternative to face masks. The forehead mount is designed in such a way that it gives flexibility. And the unique support structure at the bottom makes the shield stronger and robust.

This is indeed a wonderful initiative, especially during this time; it is actually ‘the need of the hour.’ Great going !!
