Chitkara’s strategic partner to be first university to set up offshore campus in India

Deakin University, Australia is a strategic partner of Chitkara University and is the first foreign University ever to put up an offshore satellite campus in India, in Gujarat. Australian Prime Minister, Hon’ble Anthony Albanese was in Ahmedabad, Gujarat to make the formal announcement,.and in attendance were the Chief Minister and Governor of Gujarat.

Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Ma’am Mrs.Sangeet Jaura, Pro VC, International Mr. Vineet Tuli. Vice President- Centre for Global Education was at Ahmedabad to celebrate this very special announcement from Deakin University, and extend our unconditional support to our prestigious partner.

Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Ma’am expressed her happiness on the occasion and was extremely confident of rewarding outcomes in the education sector. She also added that by setting up campuses in India, foreign universities can collaborate with Indian institutions and researchers to share knowledge and expertise.
