Dr. Jeffery Charlie, Vice-Chancellor and President, the University of York, United Kingdom, felicitated Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, and Hon’ble Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University.
On this occasion, Prof. Charlie mentioned that India, through a trusted partnership with Chitkara University, is one of the most highly valued strategic partners for jointly enhancing our mutually beneficial engagements across education & research.
To substantiate this further, Dr. Madhu Chitkara narrated the prudent timing as both the great nations have recently signed the QUAD agreement in the much assertive, yet amalgamated, approach to the G20 Presidency “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” One Earth, One Family,” which also blends with the core missions of both universities – to be first and foremost to ameliorate human life through dynamic collaboration and affirmative actions in connecting our communities and building our societies.
The University of York is a member of the prestigious Russell Group and is ranked in the top 10 in the UK for its highly impactful research. In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, it was ranked 139th overall globally.
