Chitkara University’s Inaugural HR Conclave Tackles the Evolving BANI Landscape
Chitkara Business School’s MBA Human Resources Department recently hosted the inaugural Global HR Conclave, an influential gathering aimed at addressing the pressing challenges and exploring opportunities within the evolving BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible) world. The day-long conclave featured a series of insightful and thought-provoking sessions led by distinguished speakers from across the globe. Javeed Ashraf Khan, Head of Human Resources at KPMG Middle East, shared his expertise on “Preparing for the Road Ahead,” offering valuable perspectives on how organisations can proactively navigate the uncertain landscape of the BANI world. Kunal Wadhwani, Group HR Head at Choithrams, Dubai, presented on “Leading with Mindset,” emphasising the importance of cultivating adaptive and resilient leadership in times of volatility.
In another compelling session, Capt. (Dr.) Pranav Prasoon, Chief People Officer at TRUKKER, Dubai, discussed “New Workplaces for a New Future,” highlighting the evolving nature of workplaces and the need for innovative solutions that promote employee engagement and productivity. Monica Divik Agarwal, Head of HR at Money Hero Group, Singapore, captivated attendees with her presentation on “Reimagining Employee Experience,” stressing the importance of creating a meaningful and personalised experience for employees in an increasingly complex work environment.
The event also saw the presence of Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, who shared his valuable insights on the innovative HR strategies shaping the future of work. His address focused on how educational institutions and businesses can collaborate to equip future HR leaders with the tools needed to thrive in this ever-changing environment.
Adding a unique cultural touch to the event, renowned Indian violinist and HR Practitioner Sunita Bhuyan conducted a workshop on ‘Well-being and Creativity’ through music.
