Chitkara University’s alumnus selected as “Under 30” Rising Entrepreneur

Chitkara University’s distinguished alumnus, Divam Wadhwa, Founder of Chai Nagri – a startup incubated at Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation – has been selected as an “Under 30” Rising Entrepreneur by Business Mint.

At the age of 21, he and his childhood friend Simran decided to experiment and started a small tea outlet named, Chai Nagri. The startup survived the pandemic and entered the retail segment with innovation and technology.

CHAI NAGRI” is a one-stop destination for freshly brewed multiple variants of the best quality traditional Indian Chai and multiple food options. The venture is a passion of two IT engineers turned entrepreneurs who decided to collaborate on their business idea and aim to achieve the dream of making our very own Indian Chai, the most popular beverage in the world.

Chai Nargri has a strong presence in multiple states like Karnataka, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Haryana & the list is expected to double in the next 2 Years.
