Chitkara University & Western Sydney University, Australia inks MoU for all Engineering programs

Chitkara University inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Western Sydney University, Australia; for all Chitkara University Engineering programs on November 25, 2019.

The collaboration was jointly announced by Chancellor Dr. Ashok K Chitkara & Vice-Chancellor Dr. Madhu Chitkara of Chitkara University; and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Barney Glower & Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Linda Taylor of Western Sydney University, Australia; at New Delhi.

Under this program, called the 2+2 articulation, the aspiring student will study the first two years at Chitkara University and remaining two years at Western Sydney University in Australia. Successful completion of this program will earn the student the BTech Degree from Western Sydney University.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Madhu Chitkara of Chitkara University said, “We are delighted to formalize this partnership with Western Sydney University, Australia, which is known for excellence in academics. We are certain that this partnership will provide opportunities for our students to get better exposure and international learning experience.”

At the occasion, Chancellor Dr. Ashok K Chitkara & Vice-Chancellor Dr. Madhu Chitkara were honoured by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Barney Glower & Prof. Linda Taylor, Western Sydney University, Australia; for “outstanding achievement & continuous contributions to the profession of education, skill development & empowering the youth of India”.
