Chitkara University Toastmaster’s Club wins ‘Beat the Clock’, ‘Team Enthusiastic’ Award
“A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”. Walking on the same path, Chitkara University Toastmaster Club members took part in ReVerbation, where 13 Clubs from Division B came together under one roof to network across the clubs. Chitkara University Toastmasters Club took along its ardently active members to Infosys, IT Park, Chandigarh, on March 3, 2019, for the second edition of this extremely joyful occasion.
Our Toastmasters put their best foot forward and took responsibility to perform various roles – TM Sahil served as the SAA, TM Taranjot served as the official photographer, TM Rishabh Sharma served as the Evaluator and TM Parul was the Registration Chair. All the newly recruited Toastmasters – TM Himanshu, TM Udbhav, TM Manjot, along with the seasoned Toastmasters TM Simran, TM Angad, TM Asvin and TM Parul, proactively participated in the ‘table topics session’ chosen by the Table Topics master.
TM Parul Singla won the best Table Topic Speaker and her performance was appreciated by all. Dipender Singh, DTM, Division Director C and the audience, applauded TM Simran Ahuja and TM Asvin for winning the ‘Triple Crown’ (winning three educational awards in one Toastmaster’s year).
It was a matter of pride for the club as TM Parul Singla was declared the ‘Triple Crown’ winner and awarded a trophy for the same. Chitkara University Toastmaster’s Club won the ‘Beat the Clock’ Award for registering the required number of members within the set time duration, and ‘Team Enthusiastic’ Award for having the maximum participation in terms of members. District Champion, Rupinder Singh, DTM, delivered a session on the basics of International Speech Contest.
