Chitkara University Students Shine at U-23 Senior National Wrestling Championship

Chitkara University continues to make strides in the national sports arena, with its students excelling in prestigious competitions. Two students from the BBA Sports Management program recently brought home accolades at the U-23 Senior National Wrestling Championship, held at MDU, Rohtak, Haryana.

Bipasha, a third-year student of BBA Sports Management at Chitkara University, clinched the Silver Medal in the Women’s Wrestling Championship, competing in the under-23 weight category of 76 kg. Demonstrating exceptional skill, perseverance, and strength, Bipasha fought her way to the podium, showcasing her dedication to the sport. Her silver medal is a testament to her hard work and the comprehensive support provided by Chitkara University in nurturing its students’ athletic ambitions.

Joining her on the podium was fellow student Abhishek Nagar, also a third-year student of BBA Sports Management, who earned a Bronze Medal in the under-23 Men’s Wrestling Championship in the 97 kg weight category. His performance highlighted not only his talent and competitive spirit but also the emphasis Chitkara University places on developing well-rounded individuals who excel both academically and athletically.
