Chitkara University Secures Diamond Band with A+ Grade by R World Institutional Ranking
Adding to the stride of quality academics, Chitkara University achieved another milestone as Chitkara University, Punjab has secured the Diamond Band with A+ Grade for Institution of Academic Excellence in Outcomes-Based Education (OBC) Rankings 2022 by R World Institutional Ranking.
Under outcome-based education, the ranking authorities evaluate and measure the objectives of an institution with its ability to meet and deliver these objectives through its outcomes. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is a student-centric T-L methodology that focuses on measuring student performance i.e., outcomes at different levels. The OBE Ranking focuses on 3 important parameters, viz., Inclusion and Diversity; Internship & Placements; and Entrepreneurship & Innovations. The framework has been designed specifically to weigh and focus on the 3 important parameters. Through evaluation of these three verticals, the best performing institutes are recognized and awarded for their ability to meet the standards of quality that are expected in these categories through an analysis of teaching methodologies and outcome-based models.
World Institutional Ranking envisions to consider all possible combinations of measures of funding and endowment, research excellence and/or influence, specialization expertise, admissions, student options, award numbers, internationalization, graduate employment, industrial linkage, historical reputation, and other criteria, not limited to evaluating on institutional output by research. The Ranking is expected to give a comprehensive overview of the strengths of the institutions ranked, incorporating quantifiable characteristics.
The OBE Rankings 2022 recognizes the efforts continuously undertaken by Institutions for achieving excellence in quality education, and implementation of the latest teaching-learning methodologies, including the outcome-based education models.
