Chitkara University salutes the spirit of television

School of Mass Communication, Chitkara University, organized a quiz at Chitkara University, Punjab. The quiz was conducted to mark television’s anniversary in India.

Television in India came on September 15, 1959, and this prompted the University to celebrate 54 years of its telecasting.

Teachers along with students participated in the contest. There were eight round conducted at the quiz and students divided in 12 teams participated enthusiastically.

The students were asked to identify different types of audios, products, TV serials and many more. The students took a journey down the memory lane with some of television’s first incidents, episodes, scenes and more. Students had seen some and some were completely new to them. The quiz proved to be a knowledgeable affair for both participants and spectators.

The winner team was given a gift and their efforts were appreciated. The organizing students were also appreciated for their efforts.
