Chitkara University represents India at Mai Sasin Bangkok Business Challenge – International B-Plan Competition
The competition was conducted in Bangkok by “Mai Sasin Bangkok Business Challenge.” Out of 48 entries from 17 countries top 16 semi finalist were short listed. A team comprising (Five MBA students of Healthcare, Marketing, HR and Finance streams) named as “Thyrometer” was one of the semi- finalist from Chitkara University. Prof. Madhuri Sharma from Center of Entrepreneurship, Chitkara University accompanied the students.
There were various levels of competition from venture exhibit to pitching to presentations, corporate networking events, sustainability and feedback sessions. The ventures were visited by various judges who were explained about our business proposal. This was then followed by 99 second pitching competition. Semi final round presentations took place on 12th feb and top 6 teams were picked up for final round.
In spite of being at very initial stage of our project, team was able to match up with the levels of other teams. Team Chitkara made the investors to be keen in our project and invest into it and we got one. Team won $500 as cash prize. This event helped Team in looking into the gaps and certainly fills them up. Looking at the potential market in India team is making best of their efforts to startup this venture as soon as possible.
