Chitkara University ranked 145th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023: Southern Asia
Chitkara University has been ranked 145th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023: Southern Asia, announced by QS in QS Higher Education Summit- APAC 2022 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The University has scored 7.3 in academic reputation, 12.5 in employer reputation, 18 in faculty-student ratio, 5.6 in papers per faculty, 1.3 in citations per paper, 8.8 in international faculty, 11.6 in international students, 1 in faculty staff with Ph.D., 2.8 in international research network, 2.2 in inbound exchange and 6.9 in outbound exchange.
Having mentioned that, QS University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings approved by the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG), and is viewed as one of the three most widely read university rankings in the world. Participating universities across the Asian continent were ranked on a number of parameters such as academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, international Faculty, and students, along with many other performance metrics, in the ranking for the year 2022, which were released recently.
The methodology used to create the ranking has indicators developed in consultation with regional experts and stakeholders and is designed to reflect key priorities for universities in Asia. This accomplishment by Chitkara University is a result of the concerted and consistent efforts put in by staff and students to attain educational prowess and requisite global standards.
