Chitkara University pharmacy students qualify national-level GPAT test for AICTE scholarships
Another feather has been added to Chitkara University’s cap by our pharmacy students as they qualify national-level GPAT test for AICTE scholarships for Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences Programs.
Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Punjab aims to groom its students for maximum growth in diverse areas in Pharmaceutical Sciences including research in New entity (Synthetic/ Herbal), Formulation Development, Analytical Method Development, Preclinical and Clinical Development, Manufacturing Technology, Market Research, Promotion and Distribution and global Regulatory Affairs.
M Pharm specialization is offered in various areas across the country either with AICTE scholarship or Direct/Non funded. For AICTE scholarships, a national level GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) exam is held. CCP conducts Mock Tests and additional sessions on the same at regular intervals from second to fourth Year during B Pharm.
About 14 students of B pharmacy 2009-13 batch from CCP qualified GPAT scholarship exam this year. The score entitles the students to take admissions in various National Level Post Graduate Institutes, including, NIPER, DIPSAR, UIPS, SHGU, BHU, PU, UDCT etc. 24,000 students appeared for GPAT in 2013 from all over India and about 4000 qualified the test.
