Chitkara University Partners with NWWA to Empower Naval Personnel and Families
Chitkara University has taken a significant step toward supporting the naval community by formalising a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Naval Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA). The collaboration underscores a shared commitment to educational empowerment and holistic welfare, ensuring that naval personnel and their families have access to quality education and opportunities for academic and professional growth.
The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University; Shashi Tripathi, President, NWWA; and Commodore SM Urooj Athar, Commodore, Naval Education. This partnership marks a transformative initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to Veer Naris, serving officers, and the wards of both serving and retired naval personnel, across various academic programs offered by Chitkara University. By easing financial constraints, the initiative seeks to ensure that education remains an accessible and empowering tool for the naval community.
