Chitkara University organised a workshop on qualitative research methods and analysis with ATLAS.ti

Department of Nursing, Chitkara University, conducted 3-Day Workshop on “Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis” with training on ATLAS.ti Software.

The Workshop is suitable for Researchers, Faculty, NGO, Consultants, Practitioners, and Research Scholars etc. engaged in qualitative research and using mixed methods in disciplines including Management, Law & Criminology, Medicine, Public Health, Marketing Research, Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Libraries & Archives, Medicines, and Theology etc

The Workshop was conducted by Dr. Tejinderpal Singh Associate Professor, University Business School, Panjab University Chandigarh, Certified Professional ATLAS ti Trainer/ Consultant). He used a Participative Approach with Lectures, Presentations, Case Discussion, Real-life Situation Discussion, Problem Solving, and Role Plays to conduct the workshop.

Workshop participants from diverse disciplines and different Institutions of North India were provided with hands-on experience in conducting interviews, transcription, coding and analysis of qualitative data. The workshop enlightened the participants with in-depth knowledge of qualitative research designs along with the use of ATLAS.ti software for Qualitative Research Analysis. Analyse qualitative data using ATLAS.ti, software; understand research methodology and philosophical foundation of research; understand and conduct various data collection process; understand and apply grounded theory and related approaches – were some of the outcomes for this very informative workshop.
