Chitkara University launches program in sales, retail marketing in partnership with NSDC

It surely was a day of significance for the University as National Skill Development Corporation partnership with Chitkara College of Sales and Retail Marketing for skill development launch was held at Chitkara University. The said event was held at the state-of-the-art exploratarium auditorium at Chitkara Auditorium.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) CEO and MD Dilip Chenoy was at the University to initiate this tie-up and Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, welcomed him on the occasion.

During the event, Mr Chenoy appealed the industry to employ only certified workers to raise the quality of skilled manpower. He further added, “Indian industry has a unique opportunity to create an ecosystem and set uniform standards.” He also urged the industry to come forward and enable the Sector Skills Council (SSCs) to perform with minimum government so that governance could be maximized.
