Chitkara University joins the Prestigious United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI)

We are extremely honoured to share that Chitkara University has been added as a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI ) on November 12, 2020. There are almost 1500 institutions across 147 countries that are working with the United Nations to promote global priorities; including peace, human rights, and sustainable development.

UNAI is an inventiveness that lines up foundations of Advanced Education to the United Nations, in supporting and adding to the acknowledgement of United Nations objectives and directives, including the advancement and security of basic liberties, admittance to instruction, maintainability and conflict.

UNAI works for and promotes ten basic principles: Human Rights, Capacity Building, Addressing Poverty, Education For All, Global Citizenship, Access To Higher Education, Intercultural Dialogue, Peace And Conflict Resolution, Sustainability and The United Nations Charter. The members of the UNAI focus and work on the above mentioned principles. They undertake activities that can directly support the mandates and objectives of the United Nations.

The sole duty of every member of the UNAI is to establish an effectively exhibit backing, at any range, of these principles, every year. It is the expectation of UNAI that this help can discover appearance in the United Nations’ own arrangements and projects, taking into consideration a sharing of experiences and compelling practices just as the infusion of knowledge of social, monetary and political objectives.

On that account, Chitkara University, therefore, will be working towards improving, maintaining and promoting global priorities, peace, human rights and sustainability.
