Chitkara University Hosts Thrilling 2nd Edition of Men’s Football Tournament

Chitkara University’s University Sports Board successfully organised the 2nd Edition of the Chitkara Football Tournament for Men, bringing together enthusiastic athletes in a spirited competition. The tournament witnessed intense matches, remarkable performances, and an electrifying display of teamwork and sportsmanship on the field.

After a series of competitive fixtures, Team Terminators emerged as the champions, securing victory with their exceptional coordination and skill. Team Blue Lock put up a commendable fight, earning the title of Runner’s Up with their resilience and tactical play.

Individual excellence was also recognised, with Agastya Kapoor being named the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament for his outstanding saves and defensive prowess. Kartikayan Pant’s remarkable ability to find the back of the net earned him the title of Highest Goal Scorer, while Arpan Rawat’s all-around performance and strategic gameplay won him the prestigious Best Player of the Tournament award.

The tournament served as a platform for students to showcase their passion for football while promoting a culture of healthy competition and teamwork.
