Chitkara University Hosts the 7th Edition of WECON 2022
The 7th Edition of the World Engineering Conference on Contemporary Technologies (WECON) 2022, Chitkara University’s flagship engineering conference, commenced with an inspiring video message from Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, and a welcome address by Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab. On May 20 and 21, 2022, the two-day conference held on May 20 and 21, 2022, comprised of 5 guest talks, 10 expert talks, and 52 paper presentations.
Dr. Pradeep K. Rohatgi, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA, and Dr. Ashwini K Aggarwal, Director, Government Affairs, Applied Materials, delivered enlightening keynotes at the conference.
The goal of the International Conference on Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems is to bring together academicians and professionals from universities, research institutes, and industries from India and around the world to share knowledge on the advancement of wireless communication, wireless networking technology, embedded systems, and their applications in engineering and research. In the years 2008, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2016, and 2018, six editions of the conference have been held on these themes. The conference includes keynote addresses, poster presentations, tutorials, and workshops relevant to the theme areas in addition to technical paper presentations. Many more exciting technology topics are fast expanding and garnering the attention of experts all around the world; these are included in the conference to ensure that they are covered.
International collaboration and participation, support and participation from top researchers from leading government research institutes, backing from industry professionals from global multinational corporations (MNCs), and each edition features submission of over 250 technical papers from India and abroad, with selected papers published in conference proceedings.
