Chitkara University successfully hosts EDUREFORM Expo
Chitkara University recently hosted the EDUREFORM Expo, a successful event that showcased various innovative pedagogical tools. The Expo was held under the EDUREFORM project, which is co-funded by Erasmus and aims to promote creative, critical, and analytical thinking in classrooms by training pre-service and in-service teachers. The project has 11 partners from both the European Union and India, and Chitkara University is the lead coordinator.
The event was attended by notable figures in education, including Vasudevan Natarajan, co-founder of Super Teacher, who conducted an interactive session on “Reforming Edutech Landscape.” The session was highly appreciated by all in-service teachers from various government and private schools of Tricity and Punjab. Prof. Sanjeev Sohnawane, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, also graced the event as a guest of honor, along with Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University, and Dr. Niyati Chitkara, Director of Chitkara International School, Chandigarh and Panchkula.
The EDUREFORM Expo showcased various Edu Exhibits from the Indian partner universities and different departments of Chitkara University. Dr. Sangeeta Pant, Coordinator of the project, shared the journey of the EDUREFORM project with the attendees. Overall, the event was a great success in promoting innovative teaching methods and encouraging creative, critical, and analytical thinking in the classroom.
