Chitkara University Hosts Student Sports Fest Motion Mania 2025
Chitkara University’s Department of Physiotherapy, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, in collaboration with the University Sports Board, successfully organised ‘Motion Mania – Students Sports Fest 2025’. The event provided an engaging platform for students to showcase their competitive spirit, enthusiasm for physical activity, and teamwork across various indoor sports competitions.
The fest featured an array of exciting games that tested precision, strength, strategy, and coordination. Students competed in Dart, Carrom Board, Arm Wrestling, and Table Soccer, demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and skill. The tournament fostered a vibrant atmosphere, encouraging participation and healthy competition among students.
The winners of the various categories were celebrated for their exceptional performances. In the Dart competition, Priyanshi secured the Gold Medal, Jiya won Silver, and Drishti claimed Bronze. The Carrom Board event saw Pratham Singla take home Gold, Kuljeet Singh earn Silver, and Navpreet Kaur win Bronze. In Boys’ Arm Wrestling, Ganesh triumphed with the Gold Medal, while Prabhjeet and Devarsh Shukla secured Silver and Bronze, respectively. The Girls’ Arm Wrestling category witnessed Sargundeep clinching the Gold, Kritika Puri earning Silver, and Aabroo securing third place. Table Soccer saw fierce competition, with Aditya Raj winning Gold, Gitesh Parihar taking Silver, and Akash Bhardwaj finishing with Bronze.
The fest concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where winners were honoured for their achievements. The presence of faculty members, sports board representatives, and enthusiastic students added to the celebratory spirit of the event. ‘Motion Mania – Students Sports Fest 2025’ successfully reinforced the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students, highlighting Chitkara University’s commitment to holistic student development.
