Chitkara University hosts star Sonam Bajwa at its campus

The Office of Student Affairs, Chitkara University, Punjab, organised an exclusive welcome event for the cast of upcoming Punjabi film “Jind Maahi” at its campus. The university hosted stars from the movie, such as Sonam Bajwa, Ajay Sarkaria, Raj Shoker and singer Kunal.

The auditorium was packed with excited students who wanted a glimpse of their favourite actors. Before the esteemed guests arrived, the crowd was entertained with solo dance performances from Kundan and Manav of Custody Club. This was followed by singing and danced performances, before TBR took over the stage and set the tone for the evening when the whole cast of “Jind Maahi” arrived.

The cast of the movie interacted with the students, answered questions of the audience and shared brief information about their upcoming movie. Telling about the plot, Sonam Bajwa said, “The movie revolves around the plot of Laddo, a vibrant girl from Punjab who bumps into Harry, a pessimist on the streets of London. In an unexpected twist of events, Laddo and Harry are forced to stay together.”

The film ‘Jind Maahi’ has been directed by Sameer Pannu who has contributed to the film industry with a lot of exciting projects like Sher Bagga, Ardab Mutiyaran, etc. The screenplay is done by Sameer Panu and the dialogues are written by Jatinder Lall.

Sonam Bajwa is a renowned Punjabi film industry actress who was a Contestant of Femina Miss India 2012. She was born in Uttarakhand and then she completed her studies at Delhi University. Bajwa made her debut in the movie named “Best Of Luck”, which was a comic action drama film with the spice of a romantic love story.

The event concluded with a high note as students clicked pictures with the stars and danced with them.
