Chitkara University hosts International School Awards 2022
Chitkara University hosted the fifth edition of the International School Awards (ISA), one of the world’s largest education conferences and award shows on April 23rd, 2022. It is a platform where all premier schools of the world and primary educational institutions are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the education sector, and education leaders, eminent senior officials from ministries, and the brightest minds discuss current and future policy reform trends.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University; Dr.Niyati Chitkara, Director, Chitkara International Schools; Rajesh Batra, Co-Founder, RNA Group and Akshay Ahuja, Co-Founder, RNA Group were present during the event. Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Dean, Chitkara Business School, delivered the keynote address at this year’s event, which focused on National Education Policy. This year, ISA received 8,422 nominations from more than 100 cities this year. The event’s theme included topics such as building for the future, equity and access, higher education, and new partnerships. The goal of the event was to help participants comprehend the long-established set of abilities that kids must acquire before graduating from high school. Winners from previous years have included a very wide range of international schools, both large and small, schools with a long history in international education, and many that have been founded much more recently.
There were 12 award categories, each focusing on an important aspect of international school life, including community wellbeing, innovation and creativity in learning, and pathways to continued and university education. The partners for the event were Videowala, Chitkara University, WLOC and The Child Prodigy.
