Chitkara University hosts Conference ‘Curación 2019’, experts discuss Healthcare opportunities for students

To acquaint the students of the working of various Healthcare verticals and opportunities around them, the Department of Healthcare Management, Chitkara University, Punjab; hosted a Conference ‘Curación 2019’ on October 4, 2019, at the campus. The theme for the Conference was ‘Newer Perspectives in the Current Indian Healthscape’.

Several Dignitaries and Speakers joined in to share, discuss and explore – different and newer perspectives in the ‘Indian Healthscape’. Experts & speakers for the day – Dr. Pankaj Arora, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Hospital Administration, PGIMER, Chandigarh; shared his views on “Managing a Large Public Health Facility: Key Learnings”; Dr. Sanjay Sood, Associate Director, C-DAC Mohali, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India; spoke about “The Indian Push to Transform Healthcare Digitally”; Dr. Meenu Kalia, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh; discussed the “Dimensions in Public Health: Present to Future”; Dr. Preethi, Dean, Chitkara School of Health Sciences; spoke about “Sustainable Development Goals & Antimicrobial Resistance”; and Dr. Atul Dutta, Deputy Dean, Chitkara School of Planning & Architecture; gave his perspective on “Hospital Architecture & Quality Assurance: A Close Connect”.

Guest Speakers engaged the students on various Healthcare Verticals: Hospital Architecture, Health IT, Public Health, Sustainable Development Goals and AntiMicrobial Resistance.
