Chitkara University Dominates Aarohan 2025 at IIT Ropar with Stellar Wins

Chitkara University’s athletes delivered a remarkable performance at Aarohan 2025, the prestigious sports fest hosted by IIT Ropar, securing multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals across various events. The university’s teams and individual athletes showcased their strength, agility, and sportsmanship, reaffirming Chitkara’s commitment to excellence in sports.

The university clinched three Gold Medals, with victories in Powerlifting (59kg-66kg Men), Powerlifting (66kg-74kg Men), and Volleyball (Men’s Team). The exceptional performance in powerlifting also earned Chitkara the title of Best Powerlifting Team, while the volleyball team was recognized as the Best Volleyball Team of the tournament.

Adding to the medal tally, Chitkara athletes bagged five Silver Medals in Table Tennis (Men), Long Jump (Men), Cricket (Men’s Team), Powerlifting (66kg-74kg Men), and Football (Men’s Team). The football team’s outstanding performance secured them the title of Best Football Team at the event.

The university’s athletes also showcased their prowess in multiple disciplines, securing four Bronze Medals in Table Tennis (Women), Athletics Relay, Badminton (Women’s Team), and Powerlifting (83kg-93kg Men).
