Chitkara University Delegation Actively Engages in Hon’ble PM’s Viksit Bharat@2047

In a historic moment, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the visionary initiative, Viksit Bharat@2047, through a nationwide video conferencing session. The launch saw active participation from Vice Chancellors, Heads of Institutes, and Faculty Members in sessions hosted at Raj Bhawan’s across the country.

A distinguished delegation from Chitkara University, including Prof. Harkiran Kaur, Pro Vice Chancellor (CAAN), Dr. S C Sharma, Registrar; Dr. Neelam Verma, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs; Dr. Rina Angel, Director of Administration; Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Dean of Examination; Harinder Pal Singh, Director of Sports; Jasdev Bhatti, Joint Registrar; Dr. Vibhu Sharma, Deputy Registrar; and Umesh Joshi from the Examination Department had the privilege of attending the launch at Guru Nanak Dev Auditorium, Punjab Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh.

Invited by Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Governor of Punjab, the Chitkara University delegation joined hands with other prestigious higher education institutions in Punjab at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh. The gathering aimed to actively engage the youth in shaping the national plans, priorities, and goals of India, aligning with the visionary objectives set by the Hon’ble Prime Minister.

Hon’ble Hargunjit, IAS, Special Secretary Finance, is spearheading the execution of Viksit Bharat@2047 in Punjab, ensuring seamless coordination and implementation of this transformative initiative.
