Chitkara University Delegates Attend Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023

Chitkara University, a pioneer in fostering innovation and academic excellence, made its presence felt at the prestigious Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023, held in New Delhi to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020. The event, jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, witnessed a congregation of eminent academicians, researchers, policymakers, innovators, and entrepreneurs from across the nation who engaged in insightful discussions about the transformation of higher education.

Representing Chitkara University, a delegation comprising Hazel Siromoni, Pro Vice Chancellor, Office of International Affairs, Chitkara University; Dr. S.N. Panda, Executive Director (Research), Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network (CURIN); Dr. Adarsh Aggarwal, Vice President, Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF); Dr. Manish Sharma, Professor Research, CURIN; and Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Incubation Manager, CIIF, participated in the event.

Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, inaugurated the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam at Bharat Mandapam. It provided a platform for intellectual exchange and dialogue on the future of education in India, aligning with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020.

Hon’ble Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, Government of India, delivered the valedictory address. His insightful remarks resonated with the theme of the event, emphasising the need for innovative and transformative approaches to higher education.

Chitkara University showcased its commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship by presenting a range of innovative products and solutions developed by startups mentored and incubated under the Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF). These innovations garnered significant attention and appreciation from attendees, including startup communities, industry leaders, and other stakeholders.
