Chitkara University Celebrates Republic Day with Grandeur and Splendor

Chitkara University, Punjab commemorated Republic Day on January 26th, 2023 with an impressive flag-hoisting ceremony led by Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Dr. Madhu Chitkara and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Archana Mantri. The parade that followed showcased the military strength and unity of the nation through the precision and discipline of the NCC. The celebration continued with beautiful tableaus representing themes of Equality, Liberty, Justice, and Fraternity, and a parade reflecting the evolution of media.

A spectacular play “Chitthi” showcased how letters are used to convey emotions and the series of back-to-back performances by different departments demonstrated student talent and creativity. The traditional dances were a display of the rich culture and heritage of our nation. The event concluded with achievers from different domains being honored. The celebration was a true testament to the university’s patriotism and commitment to the Indian Constitution, leaving the students in awe.
