Chitkara University awarded “Best Private Engineering University of North India” by Dialogue India Magazine
Chitkara University, Punjab has been awarded “Best Private Engineering University of North India” by Dialogue India Magazine during the 9th Dialogue India Academia Conclave -2018 on 19th May at IIT, Delhi.
The 9th Dialogue India Academic Ranking – 2018 was inaugurated by the chairman of All India Technical Education Council Anil Sahastrabuddhe, Director of IIT Delhi Prof. Ramgopal Rao, DG of Nehru Yuva Kendriya Sangh Lt Gen Dilawar Singh, Commander of IIT Kharagpur Alumni Association Virendra Jaitley, Professor Sudhir Atreya of IIT Delhi, chairman of Confederation of Indian Universities Prof. PR Trivedi, former Chancellor of UPTUProf. SK Kak, Dialogue India Group Editor Anuj Agarwal and Managing editor Dr. Sarika Agarwal.
More than 500 people participated in this event from across the country. The importance of this event of the most meaningful and directional dialogue in the field of higher education is seen in the fact that Union Minister for Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar and Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu and the Chairmen of UGC and Medical Council of India sent their message and video message for the success of Conclave, Ranking and Award Function.
Apart from the “Best Private Engineering University of North India” Award, Chitkara University, Punjab has been ranked 11th under the category of “Top 30 Private Universities in India”, it has been ranked 6th in ‘Best Private Universities in North Zone’ & ranked 1st in Punjab in India’s Best Colleges: Annual Ranking of Dialogue India.
Chitkara Business School has also been ranked 1st in Chandigarh, 2nd Punjab and 23rd in the Northern region among the top management colleges by Dialogue India Magazine, May 2018. The ranking was based on several parameters.

Of India and Major General G D. Bakshi (SM, VSM), a retired Army Officer & well known public speaker & prolific writer on military and non-military matters.
