Chitkara University and Mindanao State University – Maguindanao Ink MoU
Chitkara University, Punjab, and Mindanao State University – Maguindanao, Philippines, have entered into a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at bolstering academic and research cooperation. The official signing of this transformative document heralds the commencement of a promising partnership between the two esteemed universities.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University, and Dr. Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, Chancellor of MSU Maguindanao, formally signed the MoU, marking a significant milestone in the field of academic collaboration. Senior representatives from both institutions, including Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University; Dr. Amit Mittal, Pro-Vice Chancellor responsible for Research Programs; Dr. Rahul Pandey, In charge of Research Partnerships, and Ms. Namita Sharma, Research Manager, all representing Chitkara University, Punjab, India, attended the signing ceremony. The delegation from MSU Maguindanao included Dr. Almira B. Menson-Makalingkang, International Affairs Officer; Dr. Arceli B. Naraga, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development; along with Marissa Parcon, Bal Allessah Mayasa, Sittie Ainah B. Mohamad, and Bai Putri Morayah Amil.
This momentous MoU entails a comprehensive framework for collaboration, encompassing student exchange initiatives that promote cross-cultural experiences, faculty exchange programs to facilitate knowledge sharing, joint research projects to foster innovation, jointly designed academic programs tailored to the needs of students from both institutions, collaborative curriculum development in line with global educational standards, and cultural exchange endeavours to promote a deeper understanding of India’s and the Philippines’ rich heritage and diversity.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara expressed her profound enthusiasm, remarking, “I am delighted to sign this MoU with Mindanao State University – Maguindanao. This partnership will open new horizons for our students and faculty to engage in collaborative academic and research ventures. I am confident that this MoU will pave the way for a long and fruitful relationship between our two esteemed institutions.”
Dr. Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona echoed this sentiment, stating, “We are thrilled to forge a partnership with Chitkara University.
