Chitkara Toastmasters organises an event ‘Open House Discussions’ for B.Arch 6th Sem students
Putting across your point in a persuasive manner is an art, which is quite essential for our students to learn. The Chitkara Toastmasters Club restlessly keeps organizing events for various departments pertaining to their needs in order to provide them with a platform to sharpen their sword of soft skills. Recently, the club organized Open House Discussions for students of B.Arch 6th Semester.
The architects in making set the stage on fire by freely and assertively putting forth their points on burning topics like ‘Is the youth of India confident or confused?’, ‘Freedom of Expression & Speech’ and ‘Should National Anthem be played in cinemas?’. The Event aimed at honing the thinking on feet skills, spontaneity, healthy debating skills along with confidence and public speaking.
Prabhraaj emerged as the Best Speaker while Vaibhav was awarded the second Best Speaker.
