Chitkara Toastmasters Club organized public speaking events for the students of CCHMC 2nd sem & ECE 4th semester

Since the time of its installation in 2013, Chitkara Toastmasters Club has been conducting events in the University to provide the students with a platform to hone their public speaking skills and confidence level. Last week, the club organized two events for the students of Chitkara College of Hotel Management and Catering (CCHMC) 2nd semester and Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE) 4th Semester to help them boost up their confidence level and also learn more about Toastmasters Club. While the students of CCHMC 2nd Semester put their best foot forward in Pictionary, where they expressed their thoughts and ideas on the picture displayed to them, the students of ECE4th Sem displayed exemplary thought process for their event dubbed Extempore, where they have presented the topic on spot and were expected to speak on it. Both these events aimed at developing thinking on feet skills, spontaneity and thinking out of the box along with stage presence and public speaking.

Shivang Sen emerged as the best speaker in CCHMC’s event with Ashwini being declared as the second best speaker. Kuenga and Kirandeep were both awarded the third position.

Likewise, Vatsal Nahria was declared the best speaker from ECE4th Semester while Saumya was declared the second best Speaker.
