Chitkara ‘Team Lakshaya’ win awards for ‘Best Acceleration and Best Endurance’ at Champion of Champions Competition

Chitkara University’s Team ‘Lakshya (Students’ Formula) participated in 1st Edition of Champion of Champions Competition, supported by Dassault System, Hero-Electric, hosted by KL University, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh; from February 22-24, 2019, organised by Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers & Accredited by Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India. Team Lakshya won the Award for ‘Best Acceleration and Best Endurance’ and bagged the 1st Runner Up Position in ‘Formula Vehicle’ category. The project was lead by Mr. Varinder Singh, Project Manager; and Mr. Sarthak Pathak; under the guidance of Dr. Anoop Kumar Singh. Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIEINDIA), E-Mobility Motorsports, Education and Research organisation have taken pride to organise this event.

The Motorsports Event ‘Champion of Champions’ for different categories of the vehicle – BAJA ATV, Formula Students, Go Kart. APSSDC gave a common platform to all the participants to compete at a single place. The event was powered by Dassault System & Hero Electric, where students from all over India brought their own designed and manufactured ‘ATV/Formula/Go-Kart’ vehicles. The event was a perfect combination of Skill, Innovation and Technology by youths where students brought three categories of vehicles.

Various reputed and higher dignitaries were invited to interact with participants and share the experience to enhance their knowledge and future career. All the teams competed with their own category teams. Only 20 teams from each category: BAJA ATV, Students Formula and Go-kart were allowed to participate this year, and will be recognised by APSSDC, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
