Chitkara signs MoU with Infarsight, LLC, USA, for all-new ‘University Delivery Model’

In another step towards fostering & strengthening innovation, Chitkara University, Rajpura, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infarsight, LLC (headquartered in Princeton, NJ, USA) to introduce a Transformative Partnership Model to the Indian Education System.

Mr Sanjeev Sethi, Founder and President, Infarsight Inc, USA, along with Dr. Archana Mantri, Pro VC, CURIN, inaugurated the Centre of Innovation at the campus. Chikara University and Infarsight are pioneering a new ‘University Delivery Model’ that aims to establish an R&D and Software Engineering Centre at the University campus. The model is designed to fulfill the industry needs of specialized talent, and thus facilitate better career opportunities for graduating students.

The University Delivery Model is further designed to help customers directly engage with University students & faculty members, while an experienced delivery leadership team of Infarsight, assures industry quality delivery to the customers. Sanjeev Sethi, the President of Infarsight, notes that this model is a win-win for the Customers, University and its Student Community. Customers contribute to the course curriculum, through industry-specific modules, and live projects, which help students, specialize and gain real-life experience.

Dr. Archana Mantri, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, outlined that along with the huge benefits that the Centre of Innovation brings to the students & faculty, the Centre will also work closely with the University on incubating meritorious ideas and concepts presented by students to help them take these ideas to the market. The Centre of Innovation is headed by Dr Ram Kumar and will work on Co-investment, Co-working Model, with Infarsight and CURIN. The Centre will work on Live Projects from Infarsight and its clients.

Chitkara University has already built a formidable reputation in creating an innovation ecosystem within the University by weaving a fabric of engineering exploration courses, STEAM school, NOVATE annual Hackathon, Start-up days, and establishing Incubation Centres at Rajpura and Baddi.
