It gives us immense joy in sharing that Chitkara School of Art & Design has featured in Architizer, the coveted International Architecture Journal. Chitkara School of Art & Design has been recognized for creating a beautiful space, conducive to creative processes using unconventional elements with an intent to stimulate and inspire young budding designers, nurturing their creative spirits and helping them manifest their potentialities into maestros in making.

The key principle behind designing the School of Art and Design at Chitkara University, Punjab was to create a space that encourages creativity and innovation at the grassroots level and doing an economically optimal and aesthetically warm workspace, by improvising effective elements to add aesthetic value to space. The project uses progressive elements and construction materials with an objective to act as a source of inspiration for young designers.

This artistic space created at Chitkara School of Art & Design constitutes of studios, classrooms, a computer lab, faculty spaces and a washroom block. The dynamics of arched openings combined with glass helps in the visual expansion of rooms, creating the impression of quite a spacious space. It has been very aesthetically designed and gives a modern look.
