Chitkara School of Mass Communication wins `Spring Media Fest’ Overall Trophy at Kurukshetra University

The students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication (CSMC) took part in a four-day Media Fest held at Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology (IMCMT), Kurukshetra University from 25 to 29 March 2017. They won in eleven events to lift Overall Trophy. A total of 19 events were held and they participated in all the competitions and won many accolades.

The team of Aditya, Rohit and Sneha stood first in Radio Jingle/audio advertisement making an event. TV advertisement made by Anmol Mehandiratta, Raghav Gupta and Sanya Jain got the first position. Kanwar Prabhdeep Singh’s print advertisement was adjudged first in the fest.

Megha Kumari stood First in RJ competition. Rajbeerender’s cartoon bagged him the top place. Yeshey and Apekchhya’s team won Face Painting competition.

Anik got the first position in Just a Minute extempore speaking event. Ushma Agnihotri also bagged the first place in Collage Making competition. Rohit, Shubham Pandey and Himanshu’s documentary were also adjudged first. Mansi represented the school in Poster Making competition and got the first position. Animation film of Taranveer Singh was ranked third.

The students received position holding certificate and mementoes from Dr SS, Boora, Director of IMCMT of Kurukshetra University.
