Chitkara School of Health Sciences organised a free health check-up camp at Chitkara University

Chitkara School of Health Sciences organised a free health check-up camp in Chitkara University, Punjab Campus on 8th February 2018.

Health Check-up Camp comprised of free Blood pressure, BMI (Body Mass Index), Blood grouping, Physiotherapy and Eye check-up. Health issues consultancy was given by Dr. Meenakshi Sood, Deputy Dean of Chitkara School of Health Sciences (CSHS). The staff of Chitkara University participated in the camp with great enthusiasm.

About 102 people comprising of all drivers, a few faculty members attended the camp. All those who attended the camp were tested for BP, BMI and Blood grouping, 46 were consulted for physiotherapy and 51 went for a free eye check-up.The students of CSHS were actively involved in the camp and it provided a good exposure to them.

The camp was an initiative taken by CSHS to help diagnose problem areas among Chitkara workforce.
