Chitkara School of Health Sciences marks the invention of X-Ray on World Radiography Day
It was time for the Chitkara School of Health Sciences to celebrate World Radiography Day as every year on November 8; the world celebrates World Radiography Day.
The date marks the anniversary of the discovery of X-radiation by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895 and till date this technique has been helping doctors across the world. To mark the invention, Chitkara School of Health Sciences decided to pay its due to its inventor.
On this day, the faculty and the students got together and discussed about the importance of the day amongst each other.
Radiographers worldwide are enhancing their career with various opportunities lined up for them on the professional front and this is a day when they must take a moment to acknowledge the invention made years ago as radiography is a vital contribution to modern healthcare and as a chance to increase public awareness of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy, this day is celebrated.
