Chitkara MUNers bag Best Delegate Awards at “Confiance MUN Conference 2016”

Siddharth Sriram, Saksham Munjal, Mokshit Sood, Vaibhav Raj participated the “Confiance MUN conference 2016”.The conference included four committees which were a mixture of conventional UN Committees such as UN General Assembly and UN Human Rights Council and fictional committees such as the Indian Premier League and a Joint Crisis Committee ‘RAW v ISI’.
Mokshit and Vaibhav participated as delegates in General Assembly and Joint Crisis Committee respectively whereas Siddharth and Saksham served as Chairperson and Vice-chairperson in the Executive Board.
Vaibhav had the designation of ‘Joint Counter Intelligence Bureau’ in ISI and won the Best Delegate award in his committee with a cash prize of Rs.10,000.
Mokshit was the Delegate of The Russian Federation and won a Special Mention in his committee where the agenda was ‘Reviewing UN Counterterrorism Strategies’
The students of Chitkara University involved in the extensive debate and each one of the representative of the University either won an award or served as the Executive Board making it a memorable conference for all.
