Chitkara Law School Launches Legal Aid Clinic and Signs MoU with District Legal Services Authority
Chitkara Law School took a monumental step towards promoting legal education, social justice, and access to legal assistance with the inauguration of its ‘Legal Aid Clinic’ on campus. The event, graced by the Hon’ble CJM Manni Arora, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Patiala, and Advocate Gurveer Singh, marked a significant milestone in the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of legal awareness and societal well-being.
Chitkara Law School also inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the District Legal Services Authority, Patiala, further solidifying its dedication to the cause. The MoU signifies a collaborative effort to enhance legal services and facilitate legal education outreach programs in the region.
The event was attended by dignitaries including Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab; Dr. K.K. Mishra, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Quality Assurance), Chitkara University; Dr. S.C. Sharma, Registrar, Chitkara University, Punjab; and Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Grewal, Dean & Professor, Chitkara Law School.
Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Punjab, expressed her enthusiasm for the establishment of the Legal Aid Clinic and the partnership with the District Legal Services Authority, Patiala.
