Chitkara faculty represents us at workshop in Chandigarh
Dr. Jyotsna Kaushal and Ms. Meenu Khurana represented Chitkara University at Workshop on ‘Gathering Technical and commercial information from EPO’s patent information products and commercialisation of IP’, at Hotel Taj in Chandigarh. The workshop was organized by S&T (Haryana) in association with EBTC, European Patent office (EPO), FICCI.
The aim of the workshop was to promote the patent database to researchers, scientists and industry in order to create awareness about patenting procedures in Europe and encourage innovation. Promote technology transfer and support joint research between EU and India. Facilitate cluster-to –cluster collaboration between local state and industry clusters in Europe.
EBTC is an initiative co-funded by the European Union and coordinated by EUROCHAMBRES. Focusing on the four key sectors of biotechnology, energy, environment and transport, EBTC assists the business, science and research community – in Europe and India – to work together towards generating new business opportunities in clean technology transfer.
