Chitkara faculty bags 2nd prize at Global Hackathon – 2018 Bengaluru Tech Summit

It gives us immense pride to announce that Mr Gaurav Goyal, Faculty at Chitkara Department of Computer Science & Engineering, and also an Entrepreneur & Founder of Anukai Solutions (CEED), participated in the KGIS – Karnataka Geographic Information Systems Hackathon organised by KSRSAC – Karnataka State Remote Sensing and Application Centre in Bengaluru Tech Summit 2018 held from November 29 to December 1, 2018, at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. The winning team ‘Anukai Solutions’ would get a chance to sign a contract with KSRSAC up to 10 Lacs.

Mr Goyal participated in a virtual Global Hackathon in collaboration with Global Innovation Alliance Partners and Startup Innovation Hubs from across the globe to create solutions that addresses local or global societal needs.

This year’s theme for the 2018 Bengaluru Tech Summit was ‘Innovation & Impact’. The event is a strategic platform for industries and technologies, to use cases worldwide to understand and leverage the latest technical innovations and technical repercussions on businesses and daily lives.

Keynote speakers at the 2018 Summit included, Damien Manuel, Cyber Security Research and Innovation, Deakin University; Dr. Ganesh M. Kishore, PhD, Managing Partner at Spruce Capital Partners LLC.; Michael B. Yaffe, MD, PhD Director, MIT Center for Precision Cancer Medicine; Jaap Akkerhuis, Internet Wall of Fame Innovator, Netherlands and Europe; Dr. Ashok Gulati, Indian Agricultural Economist; Dr. Edmond Rock, Research Director, INRA; and Aruna Sundararajan IAS , Chairman DCC & Secretary Telecom Gol.
