Chitkara Engineering ranks high in several parameters in the ‘Top T-Schools 2018’ by the Dataquest-CMR Survey

Chitkara University Institute of Engineering & Technology (CUIET) has once again been ranked high in several parameters in the ‘Top T-Schools 2018’ by the Dataquest (DQ)-CMR Survey, June 2018 issue.

We have been ranked as follows:

• Ranked sixth among the ‘Top 10 Industry Interface Based on HR Scores 2018’.
• Ranked 14th in the “Private Colleges – 2018 vs 2017”.
• Ranked 17th in the Top Private T-Schools 2018.
• Ranked 29th among the Top 100 T-Schools 2018 (Government & Private).

Cyber Media Research (CMR) in association with Dataquest, the country’s oldest and most respected IT-ITeS industry journal, carried out a survey amongst various engineering colleges of India. The aim of this study was to determine the Top Technology Schools (offering B.E., B.Tech. or similar undergraduate degree-level technical courses) in the country and rank them on a list of carefully selected parameters. Chitkara University is proud of its feat as it scored high on various parameters and outshone many reputed institutions.

The following parameters were considered for ranking CUIET.

• Institute profile
• Academic environment
• Industry interface
• Infrastructure and facilities
• Campus recruitment

CMR is a member of the Market Research Society of India (MRSI) and strictly adheres to the Code of Ethics laid down by the society and it was indeed a tough call to rank based on the above parameters amongst several colleges.
