Chitkara College of Pharmacy Students at 61st IPSF World Congress in Hyderabad
Three students, Bhavneet from Pharm D first year, Vibhu B.Pharm fourth year and Shrey Bhargav M.Pharm second year of Chitkara College of Pharmacy represented Chitkara University at the 61st IPSF World Congress held by Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) students Forum Hyderabad. The event witnessed participations by graduates, postgraduates and PhD scholars in Pharmaceutical Sciences from across the world with deliberations on various topics and a professional get together with sessions by experts, including President, IPA.
The 10-day International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) – World Congress 2015 began on a thumping note at Marriot Convention Centre in Hyderabad.
Hosting the 61st IPSF World Congress for the first time in India, the organisers from Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and Indian Pharmaceutical Association-Student Federation (IPA-SF), in collaboration with industry, academia and the government agencies, have come on one platform to make this event a memorable one.
IPA, the Indian pharmaceutical Association, is the parent body of Indian Pharmaceutical Association-Student Federation (IPA-SF) has played a key role in providing the entire logistics to the 61st Congress. The IPA is headed by president, Dr Rao Vadlamudi, and its education division is headed by Dr T V Narayana. In addition this, Dr T B Nair and Jaipal Reddy are the members of core team.
The event is witnessing a host of works shops and two important symposiums on education and scientific innovations apart from other activities.
